Page 3 of 3 Hi, I'm Michael T. Sowden, a Yorkshireman born on 4th July 1944 who started work as a horse hair dresser at 15 years old. I am now 63 and have therefore spent 48 years at my trade. I have 3 sons, Michael Jnr, Mark and Phillip, who all began working and training with me when they left school in order to carry on this very rare trade when I retire.
