Hi, I'm Michael T. Sowden, a Yorkshireman born on 4^th July 1944 who started work as a horse hair dresser at 15 years old. I am now 63 and have therefore spent 48 years at my trade.

I have 3 sons, Michael Jnr, Mark and Phillip, who all began working and training with me when they left school in order to carry on this very rare trade when I retire.

Our own brands of bow hair have now become very famous throughout the world. We have increased our sales to over 100 Kilos of bow hair per month supplying 46 different Countries around the World.
