The most basic in the range, a cream coloured double drawn hair containing mostly coarse with a small amount of thin, some dark, curly and wavy hairs with 50% root to tip. These hairs are derived from our Blue, Canadian, & Gold String brands.
This hair is ideal for mass produced bows or a person on a tight budget. We also sell 125g £95.00 and 250g £157.00

Due to demand we are now supplying our Salt & Pepper, a very strong robust hair with a "grainy" quality and can withstand heavy handed players, also known as Light grey . This hair can be used for all stringed instruments if required, it's an old favourite of some of our customers!

It originates from the Mongolian and China borders and is primarily from the female horse (Mare). The mare's hair is identified by the urine stains at the tapered lower end of the hair. This gives extra grip for the rosin, as the urine lifts the minute scales to act as microscopic anchors.
